RIASORB® UV 384-2

A highly efficient and liquid benzotriazole UV absorber for coatings

RIASORB® UV 384-2 is a liquid benzotriazole UV absorber, which is convenient for solvent-borne and specific waterborne coatings. Recommend for coatings expose to high thermal and extreme environmental condition, like high-performance industrial coating, automotive coating. The performance of RIASORB® UV 384-2 can be enhanced when used in combination with HALS stabilizer such as RIASORB® UV 292. These combinations improve the durability of coatings by inhibiting or retarding failures like discoloration, gloss reduction, cracking, and delamination.

As technical requirements for polymer compounds in automotive applications continue to increase, higher performance stabilizers are needed.

Rianlon and Barentz are introducing U-pack® UV-703, as the next level for stabilization performance compared to conventional HALS products for automotive interiors, exterior and other outdoor applications providing excellent color retention and gloss stability in a variety of polymers, including PP, TPO, TPU, TPE and PE.
