MIN-HY
Water Soluble Electrolyte for Poultry, Swine & Livestock
Why Should I Use It?
Water constitutes from 70-80 percent of body weight in livestock. Changes in the normal volume of body fluids can alter the concentration of electrolytes, causing an imbalance. For example, a rise in body temperature because of disease or extreme environmental heat can induce increased water consumption and dilute the body’s electrolytes. Dehydration from whatever cause, results in an imbalance of electrolytes in remaining fluids. This adversely affects normal body functions and consequently, health, growth and production.
When Should I Use It?
The most critical time for MIN-HY is in the presence of disease, especially gastrointestinal in nature, which results in severe dehydration. MIN-HY is also essential during high and low temperature extremes; prior to and after transporting; and during vaccination.
Why Is It Different?
One of the most restricting problems with electrolytes is that most contain minerals from sources that are difficult to keep in solution. The result is clogged water proportioners and wasted product sifting to the bottom of the tank. In either case you don’t get what you pay for. MIN-HY will disperse readily and remain in suspension during the entire time it is needed in the drinking water.
It mixes fast and easy. Its light green colouring makes it easy to see whether it is flowing through your watering system properly. Even after 24 hours the only evidence of MIN-HY in the water is the green tint. In summary, when you use MIN-HY you can forget about clogged proportioners, caked equipment and wasted product. You get exactly what you are looking for, a top quality electrolyte product that works without problems.
Note: Fresh solutions should be prepared daily.
How Do I Use It?
227 grams of MIN-HY per 485 litres of drinking water. Proportioners: 1:100 – mix 1.2 kgs of MIN-HY per 10 litres of water to make the stock solution.
Consumption Guide
Every 227 grams will treat the following poultry and livestock daily.
