FINNTALC M03

FINNTALC M03 is a hydrated magnesium silicate. Finntalc grades are purified in a cascade of multiple flotation cells. This process results in a tight definition of the talc composition, making this natural product similar to a synthetic chemical. In combination with a precisely controlled particle size distribution, this ensures exact reproducibility in formulations. FINNTALC M03 can be used as a functional extender to achieve following results: Paints & Coatings: Good barrier properties, efficient pigment spacer, matting of low PVC paints, adjustment of rheological properties. Plastics: Very fine talc, excellent to use as antiblock agent and as a nucleator. Nice grade to use in controlling the cell density in foams. Compacted grades are available for low dust generation and easy handling resulting in higher compounding throughput.
