Nickel Chloride is an anhydrous salt. It is yellowish, although it can sometimes appear green and powdery. Nickel chloride is considered a deliquescent, which means that it absorbs moisture from the air to form a solution. Nickel chloride can be part of the production of a variety of other chemicals. Another use of nickel chloride is electroplating.
