Maroon Group Acquires Seidler Chemical
Maroon Group LLC announced today that it has acquired Seidler Chemical, a specialty chemicals and ingredients distributor based in Newark, NJ. Seidler’s management team, led by Richard and Martha Seidler, will remain in place and continue to actively manage the business. Terms of the transaction were not disclosed.

Effective July 1, 2017, John Wilson has assumed the role of President of Maroon Group’s combined U.S. Chemicals / Cadence Chemical business, which is currently operating from a unified office in Darien, CT. Carol Piccaro, the former President of U.S. Chemicals, has moved into a Senior Executive role where she will be working closely with John and the entire team to transition the leadership of the business. As always, the focus will remain on exceeding the expectations of the combined customer base while working closely with and adding value for our partner suppliers.
