Beeswax NF (SP 422)
Strahl & Pitsch
SP-422 is a cosmetic/pharmaceutical grade offwhite beeswax. It has a melt point in the 62-65C range and similar properties to other beeswax products. Beeswax varies in color from yellow through brown to black, and it is believed that the pollen carried by the bee affects the coloration. Local flora on which the bee feeds is responsible for this variation, and pollination of agricultural crops is essential for a food supply. Strahl & Pitsch produces White and Yellow Grades of Beeswax. Specialty Beeswaxes are available (from specific geographical locations), along with Beeswax blended with other natural and mineral waxes. We also manufacture Synthetic and Substitute Beeswaxes. These customized wax compounds mirror the properties of genuine Beeswax, providing cost savings in applications where genuine Beeswax is not required.
