MG-Guard UV-3039

MG-Guard UV-3039 is a liquid cyanoacrylate UV absorber that is especially compatible with common plasticizers, both phthalate and non-phthalate. A strong UV-B absorber, MG-Guard UV-3039 screens ultraviolet radiation and imparts colorfastness, protection against surface crazing, and retention of physical properties during ultraviolet exposure to a number of polymer systems, including TPU, PMMA, polyesters, and especially plasticized PVC. For CASE applications, MG-Guard UV-3039 is useful in silicone emulsions, inks, acrylic, vinyl, urea-formaldehyde, alkyd, epoxy, and polyurethane. Additionally, MG-Guard™ UV-3039 is a common absorber for sunscreens and other cosmetics.
