Also used for fertilizer, mineral supplement for animals, wastewater treatment, wallboard, artificial seawater, feed supplement, textiles, paper, fireproofing agents, cI ements and refrigeration brine. Magnesium chloride is a type of compound and it has a chemical formula of MgCl2. It is a type of salt and it appears as a white or colorless solid in a crystal like form.
