Ascorbic acid

Ascorbic Acid is known for its antioxidant properties. It is a molecular bond of carbon, hydrogen, and oxygen. This product comes as white crystals or a white or almost white crystalline powder, which discolors on exposure to air and moisture; odorless or almost odorless. Freely soluble in water, soluble in ethanol (90%), practically insoluble in chloroform and ether.
