Aristonate® S-5000

Aristonate S-5000 is a high molecular weight first intent sodium sulfonate with good emulsification properties, corrosion inhibition and a low foam profile. Aristonate S-5000 is produced via Pilot’s proprietary ice-cold sulfonation process, which offers unmatched in consistency and performance; reducing the need for emulsifier package adjustments due to quality variations. Aristonate S-5000 generates significantly lower foam levels than other commercially available sulfonates. Aristonate S-5000 is compatible with a wide range of secondary emulsifiers, soaps, coupling agents, bactericides, antioxidants, and corrosion inhibitors. Aristonate S-5000 as improved handling and storage characteristic over natural sulfonates of similar molecular weight.
