Barentz Expands Synthesis Solutions Team

Barentz, a leading distributor of life science ingredients and specialty chemical solutions throughout North America, is excited to welcome Shana McCabe to our expanding Synthesis Solutions sales team as Vice President of Sales.

Shana received a Bachelors (with honors) in Consumer Economics (University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign) and her Masters in Management (Washington University, St Louis, MO).

Early in her career, Shana worked as a Pharma Sales Rep (Bayer Corporation), Regional Sales Manager (Boston Scientific), Senior Sales Rep (Cordis Corporation), and Account Executive (PHT Corporation).

Most recently, Shana was employed by Ingevity (Charleston, SC) where she started as a Market Development Manager and within 7 years, was promoted to the role of Global Business Director. In this role, Shana managed 20 sales representatives, as well as business development, technical and marketing teams. Shana found success as the leader of only one out of 19 business units to finish at plan for 2020 by developing and executing strategy and identifying expansion opportunities with metalworking fluid manufacturers focusing on iPhones, PCs and electronics.
