Aquanate™ LQ

Aquanate LQ is a 32% active liquid solution of sodium lauroyl methyl isethionate. This anionic surfactant is extremely mild and provides exceptional foaming. It is derived from natural/renewable resources that can be used in formulations as a primary or secondary surfactant. Aquanate LQ is ideally used where a dense, stable foam is desired. It provides good detergency with outstanding rinseability. Aquanate LQ, when used in combination with other co-surfactants, will build highly viscous, salt thickened systems. The excellent water solubility properties allow the formulator to produce crystal clear cleansing systems for home care applications. Aquanate LQ contains Sodium Benzoate as the preservative and Trisodium Ethylenediamine Disuccinate (Enviomet® C140) as the chelant. 80% biobased and low 1,4-dioxane.
